Learning Outcome 4d. says: "describe the nine major sections of the GIPS standards." At the same time they are marked as optional content. Isn't that a conflict? What does "describe" mean? The LOS command word list says: "To portray in words". What exactly does that mean? As I understand it , I only have to memorize the 9 sections and be able to name them, since the content is optional. Other thoughts on that? Thanks.
